M. Lees (Aug 2011)

Dear SAL:
I wanted to thank all the amazing teachers that have guided, cared and nurtured my daughter Aisha over the past two years. When she joined SAL she was just over 2 and being the youngest, I was naturally worried that the baby of the family would not cope well. How wrong I was? Not only did the teachers reassure me but allowed me to observe and constantly provided updates and feedbacks on progress and development. What strikes you immediately as you enter SAL is the warmth and friendliness. The class sizes are appropriately small which allows ample attention to each little individual. Over the two years, I have watched my child blossom and develop friendship as well as master key skills to cope in any school environment. I wish that Aisha never has to leave SAL as we were both so happy and had such an amazing journey. We couldn't have done this without the thoughtful, caring, love and daily support from Auntie Dion, Auntie Jenny, Miss Ting, Miss Jasmine and all the other amazing wonderful teachers. SAL we salute you. SAL we wish you all the best and SAL we thank you.
Sincerely,
M. Lees

SAL
created a problem for us. Enrico and Ella loved it so much that when we
had to move, all other Kinder schools just paled in comparison. They complained for months about how much they missed "Steps Ahead".
As parents, the things we appreciated most about SAL is the staff's personal approach and the homey atmosphere in the school. You don't have to worry about your child
being
stressed out or pressured while learning because the setting is just
like home - well, except for the perks of having playmates plus the structured but fun and stimulating activities all the time.
We also love the fact that the teachers are not afraid to introduce
complex and advance concepts to the children in an enjoyable way. Our
two kids can't wait to go to school everyday. It feels so satisfying
seeing them so happy and so delightful when they go home and excitedly
show off their artwork or proudly fumble with new highfaluting words
they learned like oesophagus or subtraction.

We
are glad that Angela has learned so much from your school. She
has really enjoyed going there; in fact she is having a hard time with
the idea of going to a new school. She will surely miss her
friends and most esp. her Teacher-Aunties!
Thanks for everything.

My son, Adam, is 18 months old. He is a student in the Toddler class here at SAL.
I am glad to see some changes in my son so far. Thank you to all
teachers who have teached him all the good manners and courtesy. He
enjoyed singing at home too! He enjoyed reading books and so excited to
show me everything he knows. Sometimes he chose his favourite song and
asked me to sing. He even do all the action!! Wow! I was stunned and
sometimes laugh to see him doing all the tricks.
On behalf of Adam and his daddy, I wish you "A VERY HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY!".
Without you, we would have been lost. Thank you for guiding,
inspiring and showing us a good example. Thank you to all teachers
at SAL.

As we arrived home, Parmida said:"Auntie Shirl told us carrot is good
for eyes..."
Now she is snacking with a small bowl of baby carrots and almost
finished them.
Previously I tried to correct her snacking by not buying any chocolate
and filling refrige with baby vegies ready and accessable to eat, but
had a few success;)
I'm such a lucky mother that knows a well-informed lady with
enough influence on her child.
Parmida tries to remember to cover her mouth as she sneeze & says
pls for her requests &... and reminds me that her aunties asked her
to do these.
a big THANKS for you and your colleagues
